Seven states passed "fetal pain" laws in 2011, following the lead of Nebraska in 2010. Arkansas has a near-ban on abortion after 12 weeks of pregnancy. The laws are called "fetal pain" laws because doctors believe that babies in the womb are able to feel pain after 20 weeks or so of the pregnancy. This week a U.S. District Judge in Idaho struck down Idaho's ban on abortions after 20 weeks. He ruled in favor of a woman who induced abortion of a baby who was between five and six months gestation. The woman stuffed the baby in a box, which someone found.
Here is a photo of a second trimester baby someone found, like the one in Idaho.
I agree with Laura Ingraham, who suggests that the judge should voluntarily submit to violent suction of his vital organs, so he can truly see how the process feels.
I found the story here: http://www.lauraingraham.com/b/Judge-strikes-down-Idaho-fetal-pain-abortion-law/-942218154493198740.html
