Mary Margaret Olohan updates us in the Daily Caller on Tara Reade's efforts to tell the world about her experiences with Democrat candidate Joe Biden.

Only two states have voted. It is going to get more confusing, Joe.

Speaking to a group of his supporters in South Carolina, Joe Biden said, "It is important that Iowa and Nevada have spoken." Nevada is scheduled to vote on February 22.

Did you know that although Joe Biden has run for president in 1988, 2008 and 2020, he has yet to win a caucus or primary? All of this is reported by Twitchy here.

Torturing Barry's ego

In PJ Media, Jim Treacher writes,

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. is turning out to be a dream candidate, if only for fans of cringe comedy. Again and again, Joe's bumbling missteps and cranky hostility make even his most dedicated opponents say: "For God's sake, isn't there somebody who can help this poor old man?" It seems cruel to subject this addled old-timer to the rigors of a presidential campaign, but it sure beats watching him play shuffleboard.

Last week, Joe went nuts on an Iowa voter who asked him a question he didn't like. Today, we've been gifted with an interview Biden just gave to NPR's Rachel Martin. She climbed aboard the No Malarkey bus and got an earful of Joe's pure, unadulterated malarkey:

...Biden: Name me somebody who's gonna be able to stand on the world stage and immediately command the respect of everyone in the world, our enemies as well as our adversar-- as well as our allies. I know all these people. This is the only reason why I'm running this time, is because of my experience.
Martin: Well, Barack Obama was able to do it, and he didn't have very much experience at all.
Biden: No, that's not true. Think about it. That's not true. What happened was, one of the reasons Barack Obama picked me as vice president is because he lacked the background in foreign policy. He's a brilliant guy. He knew what he wanted to do. He knew how to get it done. But notice, every time we had a problem on Capitol Hill, who went up and got it fixed? Answer the question. Who went up and got it fixed? See, you're not. You know the truth.
Martin: It's not my job to answer questions.
Biden: I know it's not your job to answer.
Martin: I appreciate the sentiment.

...Everything about this is wonderfully cringey: the close-talking, the intensity of Joe's delusions, his demand of his interviewer to answer his question. It's the same energy as a young woman visiting her grandfather in the nursing home and getting an earful about his high-school football career as a backup QB. The only way this could be any better is if he said, "Look here, little lady."

What you're looking at here is a 77-year-old man who passed up his best shot at winning the presidency because he was afraid of Hillary Clinton. Now he's desperately struggling to make up for that monumental mistake, while trying to hold onto his rapidly fading mental faculties. Even if you don't like Donald Trump, you should be rooting for the Dems to nominate this guy. If he's this hilarious now, how much fun will he be when the pressure really gets cranked up?

I wish I could be a fly on the wall when Barry watches Joe spewing this nonsense. Biden was Obama's insurance policy for eight years -- Who would ever want to assassinate him, if the alternative was this clown? -- and now Biden has convinced himself he was the one running the show the whole time. It must be torture to Barry's ego. Tee-hee!

Is Biden toast?

In the Chicago Tribunes, John Kass writes that he thinks Joe Biden is toast.

How will Joe Biden survive next week’s presidential debates now that his fellow Democratic opponents have fitted him for the white hood?

He won’t.

He’s toast, after he was tagged as being racially insensitive at best and an enabler of Dixiecrat segregationists at worst.

It’s always his mouth that got him in trouble, but for years he was forgiven his racial gaffes and his creepiness — including getting all touchy feely and sniffing the hair of young women he didn’t know. But then he was Obama’s vice president and so was absolved.

But that’s over now, and Obama doesn’t seem to be sending any protective hugs Joe’s way.

Biden’s taken a pounding from Democratic politicians who are experts at playing the race card, but it’s all well-deserved, since Biden has also shamelessly played that same race card on others.

In Breitbart, Joel Pollack catalogs fifty years of flip-flopping by Joe Biden. Pollack shows how Biden reversed his positions on abortion, the Iraq war, immigration, women, desegregation, guns, drugs, and gay marriage.

"divisiveness taken to the nth power."

In PJ Media, Roger L. Simon writes,

...Remember "There is not a liberal America and a conservative America—there is the United States of America" from Obama's keynote at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, the speech that ignited his march to the presidency? How far did that go? Just about as far as Barack dismissing Republicans as those who cling to their guns and religion and Hillary calling Trump supporters a "basket of deplorables." Very uniting stuff, no?

But more to the point, Biden represents a political party that could not accept the 2016 election of Donald Trump on any level, before or after his victory. Their supporters taking to the streets almost immediately, they and their compliant media were talking about impeachment before Trump was even inaugurated.

Where was Biden in that extraordinarily divisive behavior? Not uttering a peep, as I recall.

As is becoming increasingly evident, the previous Democrat administration, of which Joe was a significant member, was up to its eyeballs in skullduggery, working through allies in the Department of Justice and the FBI (and the CIA and the State Department, apparently) to undermine the Trump presidency before it got started. This gave rise to the Mueller probe that tarnished Trump with outrageous accusations of non-existent Russia collusion for over two years, an act of sabotage unprecedented in our history. Again not a word from Joe.

This was divisiveness taken to the nth power. Yet Biden is advertising himself as the decent man of moderation, our new uniter-in-chief, who will cure all this. As if.

The bigger question is whether Joe Biden -- our new uniter -- knew in any way about these treasonous games and/or whether he was directly involved. If it's only the former, it's despicable enough and completely disqualifies him as a uniter of any kind -- or as a candidate for the presidency for that matter.

We do know that Biden is corrupt. His son Hunter's multi-million dollar deals with Ukraine and China are well known and intimately connected to his father's activities. (When Joe made a blunder last week, blithely dismissing China as a foe, the immediate thought was he was covering up for Hunter.) Indeed, Biden family values are, to put it mildly, bizarre. But that doesn't stop Joe -- one of the purest examples of the political hackus amaricanus -- from proclaiming himself in Saturday's speech the pro-family candidate.

Nevertheless, he and his strategists are clever in presenting Biden as this uniter, disingenuous as it is. It might get him through the primary season relatively unscathed. But my guess is, in the immortal words of Obama's once-favorite minister, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, the "chickens will come home to roost."

Will Biden be the next hill for Democrats to die on?

In American Thinker, Clarice Feldman takes aim at Joe Biden for his unfair and inaccurate attack on Donald Trump's comments about Charlottesville.

...referring to the false claim that Trump endorsed the neo-Nazis In Charlottesville. He did not. His reference to “good people on both sides” as the transcript shows was to those who demonstrating for and against the removal of historic Confederate statues. He specifically condemned the violent protestors.

In the Daily Caller, Rachel Stoltsfoos notes that in his video announcing his candidacy for 2020

Former Vice President Joe Biden endorsed Antifa in a video announcing his presidential bid Thursday, characterizing the group as “courageous” and saying it’s wrong to draw a moral equivalence between white nationalist groups and those opposing them.

She goes on to detail some of Antifa's actions here.

Feldman concludes,

The Democrats’ great white (straight male) hope could well prove this year’s hill for them to die on.

Biden to Specter: Anita Hill was lying!

Mollie Hemingway writes in the Federalist about the Clarence Thomas hearings chaired by Joe Biden.

...Much revisionist history has been drafted by partisans who oppose Thomas’s judicial philosophy. It’s true that Biden did his best to help Hill, including concealing witnesses who would have been a disaster under examination. But even he admitted to his colleague Specter that Hill was lying.

Hill’s allegations against Thomas were far from convincing when she made them, and the passage of time has done nothing to bolster the veracity of her accusations. But based on the uncritical acceptance of the revisionist history of the Clarence Thomas hearings, it’s crystal clear that journalists would do well to familiarize themselves with the actual facts of what happened and call Biden to account for his treatment of Thomas.
