Mateen transcripts released, revealing his allegiance to ISIS

Seventeen pages of transcripts between the Orlando police and Omar Mateen – the dead Islamic terrorist who killed 49 people at the Pulse nightclub in Florida – have now been released.
Despite the drastic attempts by the establishment media to portray Mr. Mateen as a scorned, mentally ill, repressed homosexual, the documents reveal one crucial point: Omar Mateen ranted at the police about America’s fight against the Islamic State, mentioning the war and air strikes at least 20 times in total.

Mateen hate crime in Orlando? No, the real monsters are people who don't want to bake cakes for gay weddings!

In the immediate aftermath of last month’s deadly terror attack in Orlando, many speculated that the shooter, Omar Mateen, targeted Pulse because it was known as a gay nightclub. Over a month after the attack, however, federal investigators have yet to find any evidence that Mateen chose Pulse because it was a gay club. Investigators also say they have no evidence to support claims made in some media outlets that Mateen lived a secret gay lifestyle. In fact, the evidence the FBI has collected shows he was actually cheating on his wife with other women.

This means we can downgrade this attack from a horrible hate crime to a mere mass-murder.

I mean, yeah, Omar Mateen may have hated the people he murdered for being part of Western Civilization, but he didn’t hate them for being gay.

We’ll save the “Hate Crime” label for the real monsters: People who don’t want to bake cakes for gay weddings.

Inside the killer's home in Florida

Omar Mateen's home in Florida was broken into sometime Sunday night or Monday morning. A photographer from Aftenpost, a Norwegian news organization, took pictures from inside the apartment. Aftenpost reported that there’s a framed verse from the Koran on the wall of the child’s bedroom and a “Praise be to Allah” note on the refrigerator. I wonder what was taken, if anything, by the person(s) who broke in.

He pledged allegiance to ISIS

The Washington Post reports,

The gunman, identified as 29-year-old Omar Mateen, apparently made a 911 call before the attack identifying himself and pledging allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State, according to U.S. law enforcement officials who asked not to be identified to discuss the ongoing investigation.

Mateen also made a reference to the 2013 bombing of the Boston Marathon during this call, officials said. Mateen was investigated by the FBI in 2014, but what triggered the probe and its scope were not immediately clear, officials said. The probe was closed the same year.

Also on Sunday, authorities in West Hollywood, California, took a suspect into custody after discovering an arsenal in his car that included explosive powder, assault weapons and a camouflage outfit, CNN affiliate KABC reported, citing unnamed authorities. The suspect told authorities he was there for the Los Angeles Pride festival, which is underway this weekend.
