"What were those protesters doing then?"

Outrage over President Donald Trump’s executive order prioritizing refugee claims by persecuted religious minorities has puzzled activists from Iraq’s Yazidi community, who note the lack of major protests against the brutal massacre of thousands of Yazidis and Christians by the Islamic State.

...Echoing Iraqi Catholic Archbishop Bashar Warda, Mizra Ismail — a Yazidi activist with the Yazidi Human Rights Organization-International — told Breitbart News, referring to opponents of Trump’s executive order:

My first question for those protesters is: where were they when ISIS was committing genocide against the Yezidis and Christians in Iraq and Syria? ISIS killed and kidnapped thousands of Yezidis, mostly young women, girls and children. The ISIS jihadists also beheaded many Yezidis and Christians openly in the most brutal way and posted their videos on social media.

What were those protesters doing then? I believe when ISIS committed all those crimes against the Yezidis and Christians, those protesters were blind.

Revenge against ISIS

Here is another story from London's Daily Mail, which is kicking the butts of American media all over the map.

The story is by Owen Holdaway In Dohuk, Iraq For Mailonline.

ISIS kidnapped thousands of Yazidi women and very young girls when it stormed their villages in Sinjar province, northern Iraq, in August 2014.

Those who escaped from their clutches have told of how they endured unimaginable cruelty and sexual abuse at the hands of the ISIS fighters they were forced to marry.

...Xate says the group is unofficially known as the 'Sun Girls' because the Yazidis believe the sun protects them, adding: 'The sun is something holy.'

And there is a rumour in the Yazidi community that ISIS fighters are scared of being killed by a woman because they worry they will not be rewarded with '72 virgins in heaven'.

'ISIS will never go to heaven,' Xate laughed when asked about the rumour, 'We will kill them.'

Parents cutting their hands so their children can drink their blood

Why have the Yzidis been persecuted by the Muslims for a thousand years. Ace of spades has apparently been researching the matter. Here is an excerpt of his report:

The Yazidis have been persecuted and slaughtered by Muslims since the 12th century for their alleged "demon worship." Their religion is syncretic and includes both ancient pagan nature-gods as well as Zoroasterism and the god of the neighboring monotheistic religion (Allah, I mean) as well as, oddly enough, Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary.

But one of their ancient gods -- actually, not a god, but an angel beneath God's command -- is a Peacock Angel, and the Muslims claim he's "Satanic,"* and so these people have been chased out of the cities and forced to take refuge in remote mountains, harassed and killed for one thousand f***ing years all because of a Peacock, and now they're going to be butchered even up there on their shitty, no-one-else-would-live here mountain.

* Why is he claimed to be Satanic? Because the Yazidi myth of this Peacock Angel comes within striking distance of the Satan story, but with important differences.

The Peacock Angel was proud, as peacocks are, so proud, in fact, that God punished him, by, I'm guessing, sending him away from Heaven for a time.

But the Peacock Angel repented, and was allowed to serve God once again. In their myths, God assigned the Peacock Angel the task of being the watchman over creation.

Or something like that.

As you can see, the "rebelled against God" is somewhat close to the Satan story, and Satan has certainly been depicted as a prideful angel, ergo, the Peacock Angel must be Satan -- even though, in their religion, the story is completely different. The Peacock overcame his pride (see Thor) and now serves again as an angel.

So over this point of religious disagreement, these people have been harassed and forbidden to live in Muslim cities, and now are being buried alive in mass graves, and are so famished that parents are cutting their hands so that their children can drink their blood (which does contain protein and water, but this method of keeping your kids alive can't last forever), and will in all likelihood be slaughtered en masse.
