Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) introduced a bill Thursday on the floor of the House of Representatives that would ban the Democratic Party due to the party’s history of having supported slavery and the Confederacy, saying “that is the standard to which they are holding everyone else, so the name change needs to occur.”

“Whereas on June 18, 2020, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ordered the removal from the capital portraits of four previous speakers of the House who served in the Confederacy, saying that these portraits ‘set back our nation’s work to confront and combat bigotry,'” Gohmert said. “The men depicted in the portraits were Democrat Robert M.T. Hunter, Democrat Howell Cobb, Democrat James L. Orr, and Democrat Charles F. Crisp.”

“Resolved that the speaker of the House of Representatives shall remove any item that named symbolizes or mentions any political organization or party that has ever held a public position that supported slavery or the Confederacy from any area within the House wing of the Capitol or any House office building and shall donate such item or symbol to the Library of Congress, and two, that any political organization or party that has ever held a public position that supported slavery of the Confederacy shall either change its name or be barred from participation in the House of Representatives,” Gohmert concluded. “With that, I would yield back.”

Propaganda is an important part of any fascist movement. The Democrats’ propaganda machine – AKA: the mainstream media -- is finely tuned and can turn on a dime.

Currently, anyone who suggests that restrictions should be lifted is irresponsible and a danger to society. In February, suggesting that changes may be needed to counter the outbreak was said to promote panic. In both cases, Democrats said Trump was to blame.

...Former Obama advisor and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said never let a crisis go to waste. For Democrats the coronavirus crisis is an opportunity to destroy the economy, defeat Trump, and get Americans used to following orders – no matter how absurd.

As they move toward their nominating convention, perhaps the Democrats should have armbands to complement their face masks.

Establishment media and the Democratic Party's conspicuous lack of interest in sexual harassment and assault allegations made by a former Senate staffer against former Vice President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, speaks volumes.

It tells us how dangerously politicized sexual harassment and the #MeToo movement has become.

We're seeing this unfold before our eyes as U.S. senators such as Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Kamala Harris, D-Calif., Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., and many other members of the Democratic Party have endorsed Joe Biden for president while ignoring the serious sexual assault allegations and criminal complaint filed last week by Tara Reade. Reade alleges that while a Senate aide in 1993, her then-boss, Biden, sexually harassed and assaulted her, something Biden's campaign has denied.

Now, if you'll recall back in 2018, Democrats insisted we "believe all women" during Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court justice confirmation hearings. Despite the four-decade-old unsubstantiated allegations that were lobbed against Kavanaugh by Christine Blasey Ford and others -- later debunked or disproven by an FBI investigation -- the Democratic media machine relentlessly smeared Kavanaugh, raking him over the coals throughout the kangaroo court hearings broadcast into America's living rooms.

In lockstep, the entire Democratic establishment -- and complicit left-wing media -- believed his questionable accusers from the get-go and vociferously defended them, no vetting of the allegations required. Kavanaugh, a widely respected judge who earned a sterling reputation as an upstanding public servant spanning decades, was guilty until proven innocent.

Due process be damned.

When asked at the time about the uncorroborated allegations Ford made against Trump's conservative Supreme Court pick, Biden told reporters, "Oh, I thought she was telling the truth at the beginning." He added, "For a woman to come forward in the glaring lights of focus, nationally, you've got to start off with the presumption that at least the essence of what she's talking about is real, whether or not she forgets facts, whether or not it's been made worse or better over time."

Now contrast that with the sexual harassment and assault allegations being made against Biden today by Reade. Warren, Harris and Klobuchar aren't running to Reade's defense, nor are any of these phony liberal "feminists" calling for an investigation. Not a chance, given they're all vying to be Biden's pick for vice president.

Are House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., or other high-ranking members of the Democratic Party calling for an investigation or rushing to Reade's defense? Far from it.

To say there's a double standard is an understatement that should alarm every fair-minded American.

What we're witnessing is if any woman comes forth with sexual misconduct allegations against President Trump or anyone associated with him or the Republican Party, then Democrats and unethical media are quick to pounce and exploit the situation for political gain.

You can bet the farm they'll run defense for the accusers regardless of how outrageous, farcical or flimsy the allegations may be. But when there's a high-powered Democrat involved, like Biden, who's their only hope to remove the president from power -- something they've been desperately trying to do since his inauguration -- they'll turn a blind eye.

Yet, by doing so, they've lost the moral authority to lecture the nation on important women's issues surrounding sexual harassment. Reade is an alleged victim, yet, thanks to unscrupulous politicians and dishonest media, she is being left out in the cold.

This is something voters ought to consider when casting ballots in November.

Three bad days

...February 3, 4, and 5, 2020 were pretty much the most miserable three days in the history of the Democratic Party.

...So, three bad days…okay, but the coming days will be brighter and better, right? I mean, you have a great candidate for…oh. Well, you’ll get a big boost with the economy…oh. At least you can still count on minorities to back you even though you never, ever perform on your promises…oh.

So many of these factors at play in the British vote parallel American electoral realities. The Democrats of John Kennedy, Daniel Moynihan, and Henry Jackson days are long gone. The party has gone off the deep end, and many Independents explain that they never left the party — the party left them. The Democrat Congress has wasted the nation’s year, failing to do the “People’s Business” but instead dallying over an impeachment that is dead on arrival. The public is disgusted. Many voters who have their concerns about aspects of President Trump’s personality and who may feel comfortable criticizing him in polls will be voting for him and down the Republican line in November because the Democrat alternative will be unfathomable and intolerable. The ethnic Catholic blue-collar working class of the Rust Belt states of the Midwest, often thought of comprising a Democrat “impenetrable blue wall,” have returned to the Republicans as they did during the years of the Reagan coalition. The same has happened in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Iowa. If Americans value freedom as Brits do, the Dems are chopped meat in November. But thanks to the Trump economy, there should many fine bartender job openings available for their brightest stars to return to.

Harriet Tubman supported the Republican Party because it opposed slavery. She carried a gun because it protected the liberty and freedom of herself and those she delivered to freedom via the Underground Railroad. Just as Democrats sought to enslave and disarm blacks back then, they now seek to entrap them in high-crime urban areas run by liberal Democrats who seek to deny them, and the rest of us, the right to keep and bear arms.

Things not going well for Democrats

Confusion Thy Name is Democrat

I can barely keep track of what the Democrats believe anymore. Of course, this is partly ‘cause they themselves seem to be having trouble keeping their lies . . . ummm . . . I mean, stories, straight. Of course, part of the problem with those pesky things like truth and facts might well be that they pretty much live in a fantasy world made up almost entirely of their opinions and perceptions which often have little to do with reality.

They claim they need to rid citizens of guns in an effort to save the lives of children and babies, yet support the right to not only kill unborn children, but to extend so-called abortion legislation beyond the womb to the killing of newborns who survive the abortion process. If even one life needs to be saved, why not start with those most innocent and in need of protection?

Then, there is the constant cry from the Left about Women’s Rights. Fighting for equality for women. Not allowing the male patriarchy to run roughshod over women. And, yet, these same so-called feminists are supporting transgenders over biological females. They are allowing females who are transitioning to male and males who are transitioning to female to compete in athletics against biological females who do not have the assistance of male hormone advantages due to either birth or medical intervention. Yes, feminists are actually championing males (of one variety or another) over females. Not exactly ladies first in my book!

Now they have found a new which which is which. Are 16 year olds mature or immature? On the one hand they are excusing bad behaviors of some of their favorites by claiming they were just 16 or just teenagers or very young, and thus their immature actions should be excused. On the other hand they want to lower the national voting age to 16 ‘cause teenagers are mature enough to make such decisions as who will be president. HUH???

Of course, if we look back in time, we can see that this dichotomy is very much embedded in the Democratic Party. For example, their stance on border security and illegal immigration has gone from party leaders saying virtually the same things as President Trump . . . when it wasn’t President Trump in office . . . to them now siding with the illegal immigrants against their own American citizen constituents. This is another example of them using the “if it’ll save just one life” and then going directly against that idea. They ignore the number of American lives lost regularly due to the unsecured border. Crime and violence by gang members and criminals that we did not deport or returned after deportation. Drugs being brought in. Terrorists crossing over. Numerous cases where one life (or more) could have been saved if they would have just built the wall already!

I find it terribly terrifying that the lunatic people on the Left side of the aisle are so close to being in power. In my opinion, having even one Democrat in one office at even the lowest level of government is one Democrat too many. Perhaps not all Democrats are mentally unstable as individuals, but as a mob they are definitely unhinged. As a party they are deranged beyond all doubt. No one but crazy people could put together a platform that reads like something from the Alice in Wonderland from Hell playbook. Add that to their constant anger and you get a whole new take on mad as a March Hare. You remember him? The good buddy of the Mad Hatter! Talk about an insane tea party. That is exactly what the D party has become. A bunch of bizarre characters around a table speaking nonsense.

I guess when you live in the dark places where plots to steal freedoms are hatched it is a lot like falling down a rabbit hole and no longer being aware of the truth that lives in the light of day. When you spend all your time trying to simply steal ever more power and think you can actually be like the Queen of Hearts and go around demanding “off with his head” whenever anyone displeases you, one is apt to get a bit weird when trying to interact normally with real folks.

Maybe a cure for some of the political insanity we see in government would be across the board term limits. If politicians were required to step away from their world of make-believe and return to just being an average citizen, maybe they would become a bit more grounded as to what Americans really need to not just survive but to actually thrive. Take away their lifetime benefits and maybe they would care a bit more about Social Security, health care costs, the price of fuel, the affordability of food, and other everyday concerns facing citizens all across this country.

Maybe some time in reality would make the Democrats a little less confused. Everyday struggles have a way of bringing things a little more into focus. When you actually have to care about money, money gets real. Real fast! Until this happens, I will continue voting a straight Republican ticket. While the Republicans are not perfect, they are a little less freakin’ bat-turd crazy!!!

Thursday's here and after the last 24 hours I feel as if I've had my kishkes ripped out, not so much because of the completely outrageous, risibly false and lurid allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, made all the more laughable as they seemed to come almost every 15 minutes from such outstanding examples of humanity as bald-headed shyster-cum-pornographer Michael Avenatti as the afternoon wore on into the evening, but because people on our side (and I'm not necessarily blaming Chuck Grassley or Mitch McConnell) are now looking as if they are wavering in their support of the nominee.

Forget the fact that Brett Kavanaugh has already undergone 6 independent FBI background checks despite 1991-era "Slowhand" Biden calling them irrelevant and modern day Democrats (Biden included) screaming for them con gusto, that scores of witnesses, both men and women, with direct first hand knowledge of Kavanaugh and the accusers have come forward to categorically shred the allegations and stand up for the nominee, that even cursory examination of evidence such as the ballyhooed polygraph test have been exploded, that all of the accusers are rabid Trump-hating leftists, that their legal adviser(s) are all from the same firm and big machers in Leftist activist causes and Dem fundraising, that the accusers themselves cannot even get their stories straight about where and when things took place, that nearly a dozen gang-rape parties took place and not one police report was ever filed and that the lying whore-mouthed Ramirez went back time and again to willingly attend them and that now two men have come forward to essentially confess to the assault of Ford and exonerate Brett Kavanaugh, and on and on and on and on. And do not get me started on how all of this was unleashed at the absolute last second by Chi-Com flunky/traitor Dianne Feinstein. No, all of this is to be disregarded because it's for a lifetime appointment.

In fact, the more frequent, lurid, outrageous and transparently false the accusation, the more they seem to be teetering. For pity's sake, why oh why?! I'm referring of course to the anti-Trump or to be charitable Trump-averse Senators on the judiciary committee and elsewhere. To cap it all off, missing the spotlight, Democrat 2020 Presidential hopeful Kamala-Toe Harris informs us that during law school, an anonymous source who just came forward says she witnessed Brett Kavanaugh use a time machine to travel back to 1932 to kidnap, gang-anal-rape the Lindbergh baby with several other Brett Kavanaughs from other space-time dimensions, and then drain its blood in order to bake toll house cookies under the guidance of his rabbi, while simultaneously causing the Dust Bowl due to having studied the Joo weather control chant.

Laugh if you will, but Jeff Flake and Lisa Murkowski are agonizing over the accusation and view it as an abrogation of their Constitutional oaths if they do not give it the full and serious consideration it deserves. After all, once again, we are talking about a lifetime appointment here.

President Trump commenting yesterday on this obscenity, which no doubt is going to go down as a low point in history, even for the Democrats who are responsible for virtually all of them, Tweeted:

THIS x infinity, not just about Brett Kavanaugh but about everything they have ever done in the name of permanently seizing absolute power and subjugating this nation. But of course, we are saddled with clueless dolts such as this Senator Kennedy from Louisiana who burped up that Supreme Court nominations being politicized is the fault of the Congress. No, dunderhead. It's the fault of the Democrat-Left who view the courts as their means to rubber stamp and impose their insane destruction on and against the will of the American people and will stop at nothing to hold on to that awesomely powerful weapon of subjugation, it's original purpose notwithstanding.

I do not know what outrage and insanity will come today but first and foremost, Brett Kavanaugh is not just fighting for a seat on the Supreme Court - he is literally right now fighting for his life, his livelihood and the life of his family. If this smear campaign is not only not defeated but rammed back down the vile throats of every Democrat-Leftist-Media traitor who unleashed and/or pimped it, Justice Kavanaugh will no doubt lose his seat on the DC Circuit where he now works, could very well be disbarred and will no doubt become a pariah and unemployable in his chosen field. This is the same lousy, miserable evil tactic unleashed on Memories Pizza, Masterpiece Cakeshop, Mozilla's Brendan Eich and on and on and on.

They don't want to debate you. They don't want to defeat you. They want and need to see you destroyed. By Any Means Necessary.

Well, this might come as a shock to some people but the feeling is mutual, except that absolutely I renounce the use of violence up until the moment it becomes a self-defense issue. And I recognize with every passing day and every new outrage, the situation may very well devolve to that, and sooner than we know or want. With that preamble out of the way, and bearing in mind what we went through during the 8-year-long Obama reign of error as well as the completely unhinged behavior that has led to the open harassment, beatings and shooting of Republicans and conservatives, both private citizens and public figures, there is nothing more to be said than to openly CONDEMN the Democrat Party, its leadership, elected officials, operatives, lobbyists, PACs and constituents and charge them with (yet again) the malicious intent to subvert the proper functioning of the Senate with the goal of sabotaging the will of people as confirmed with the 2016 presidential election.

My feelings about said party are well known and documented in these pages. Suffice it to say that their record of insurrection, treason, crackpot socialism, legislative destruction that has led to financial and cultural/societal ruin, and corruption in the name of absolute power has left a trail of tears and blood in its wake, that gathers into a river that flows into the ocean created by the millions upon millions of victims of the global totalitarian Socialist enterprise it has been a part of. This nation and indeed this world would be a far better place if the Democrat party and its affiliates were outlawed, and every vestige of its poison purged from the bureaucracy, our media, our culture and most importantly our schools.

I don't know how we do that while still remaining within the bounds of the documents we revere and hold sacred when the enemy is openly calling for their shredding, by the principles of a just and stable law when all around the enemy flouts them at every turn, or via elections where our enemy will stop at nothing to cheat and rig them in their favor.

Circling back to the top, I have no idea what this day is going to bring, but all I can say is pray as hard as you can for Brett Kavanaugh, his family and his friends, and pray that those putatively on our side somehow put aside whatever political backroom wheeling and dealing, look into their hearts and find whatever vestige of character, decency and honor that Washington DC has not stripped from them and do the right thing by moving forward with this nomination and ultimately a confirmation.
