An ugly legacy

As someone who underwent surgery from male to female and lived as a female for eight years before returning to living as a man, I know firsthand what it’s like to be a transgender person—and how misguided it is to think one can change gender through hormones and surgery.

...Obama is championing the insanity of eliminating the traditional definition of gender. He does not grasp the biological fact that genders are not fluid, but fixed: male and female.

Using the power of his position to influence the elimination of gender, overruling science, genetics, and biblical beliefs, is Obama’s display of political power.

One fact will remain, no matter how deep in the tank Obama goes for the gender nonconformists, genetics and God’s design of male and female, no matter how repugnant that is to some, cannot be changed. Biological gender remains fixed no matter how many cross-gender hormones are taken or cosmetic surgeries are performed. No law can change the genetic and biblical truth of God’s design. Using financial blackmail to achieve the elimination of gender will become Obama’s ugly legacy.

You don't think higher ed is nearing insanity?

The University of Tennessee has told its staff and students to stop calling each other 'he', 'she', 'him' and 'her' - and to start referring to one another with terms like 'xe', 'zir' and 'xyr' instead.

The Knoxville branch of the public university, which has 27,400 students, sent a memo round to its members filled with unusual new parts of speech to avoid referring to anybody's gender.

According to a gay rights official at the university, the new language regime will make the university 'welcoming and inclusive' and stop people feeling 'marginalized'.

Noah, once hailed as the savior of humanity because of his home-built ark, has come under fire for his gender limiting policies.

The controversy first erupted when Noah posted signs stating that “all animals, male and female” will be welcome in his Ark.

“To limit who will live by an arbitrary gender designation is immoral” said a spokesman for the gender fluid animals.

Did you know that America's highest paid female executive was born a man?

Martine Rothblatt raked in a cool $38 million last year, according to The New York Times. Rothblatt tops the list as the highest-paid female CEO in 2013. Twenty years ago, Rothblatt would not have been able to claim this title — Martine was born Martin.

The 59-year-old founder and CEO of publicly traded pharmaceutical company United Therapeutics transitioned from male to female in 1994. Rothblatt made her first fortune as a founder of Sirius radio in the 1990s when she was still living as a man, New York magazine reports. She launched her current endeavor in 1995, shortly after her transition.

For Rothblatt, gender is more fluid than identifying as male or female. Even after deciding to undergo a sex-change operation, she prefers to use “Pn.,” for “person,” rather than “Mr.” or “Ms.”
