Edna St. Vincent-Millay is reported to have once said that “History isn’t one damn thing after another—it’s the same damn thing over and over again.” That certainly describes the day-to-day news cycle right now, and the challenge of doing the weekly picture gallery. Have you heard? There’s a pandemic! And Orange Man Bad. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like the pandemic of predatory politicians and the mindless media is going away soon. But cheer up. We can start the weekend with this:

"The noose doesn't match the wound."

Paul Goldberg reports in Newsthud.com,

Dr. Michael Baden in a stunning 60 Minutes episode where photos from Jeffrey Epstein’s cell were first released found fresh reasons to doubt the official story.

And he brought receipts. According to Baden what troubles him are the unusual fractures in Epstein’s neck and the fact that the wound doesn’t match the noose.

Dr. Baden: I have never seen 3 fractures like this in a suicidal hanging….Going over 1,000 jail hangings, suicides in the New York City state prisons over the past 40-50 years, no one had 3 fractures.

“The forensic evidence released so far, including autopsy, point much more to murder and strangulation than the suicide and suicidal hanging.”

“This noose doesn’t match the ligature furrow mark. It’s wider than this….Most hangings—especially free hangings—the ligature slides up to beneath the jawbone. Here it’s in the middle of the neck.”

From CBS: 60 Minutes reviewed hundreds of graphic photographs from Epstein’s autopsy and inside his cell. There are multiple nooses, a bit of orange sheet tied to the grate of a window. On the top bunk, bottles and medicines stand upright. Below it, another piece of fabric is tied through a hole on the bed about four feet from the ground.

Did Epstein, who was nearly 6 feet tall and 185 pounds, somehow lean in and hang himself from the lower bunk? We don’t know.

Dr. Baden, the forensic pathologist hired by Epstein’s family, says the noose that was sketched and included in the autopsy report doesn’t appear to match the wounds on Epstein’s neck. And Baden says, the ligature mark was in the middle of Epstein’s neck, not beneath the jawbone, as one would expect in a hanging. Also puzzling to Baden is that Epstein would make a noose out of a bedsheet when wires and cords were present in his cell, as photographs show.

There are not any photos of Epstein’s body in his cell, Baden says – he was rushed to an emergency room after guard Michael Thomas found him. But Baden believes, based on the autopsy, Epstein had been dead for two hours by then and he says the scene should have been treated as a crime scene, leaving the body alone. Federal Bureau of Prisons protocol mandates a suicide scene should be treated with the “same level of protection as any crime scene in which a death has occurred.”

Jeffrey Epstein "suicided"

Although guards are supposed to check on prisoners who are on suicide watch every 15 minutes via CCTV, Jeffrey Epstein was "suicided" this morning in his NYC jail cell. Paul Joseph Watson comments here.

The Daily Mail reports,

...Meanwhile, the billionaire's death comes just 24 hours after more than 2,000 pages of documents detailing the lurid allegations of his sexual abuse of underage girls were unsealed to the public.

On Friday morning, a federal appeals court published explosive documents pertaining to a 2015 lawsuit that Virginia Roberts Giuffre had filed against Epstein's associate, socialite Ghislaine Maxwell.

Giuffre claimed Epstein and Maxwell kept her as a 'sex slave' in the early 2000s, whilst she was underage.

The unsealed papers - which made international news on Friday - implicated a number of high-profile men in sex scandals.

Conchita Sarnoff wrote TrafficKing, which was published June 15, 2016. She started her investigation in 2009. Book synopsis:

In the interview below with Fox, Conchita says Clinton was a guest on Epstein's plane 27 times, which is backed up by pilot logs, which also show that underaged girls were on board the plane almost every time. Clinton released a statement yesterday saying he was a guest four times!

Democrats suddenly interested in Clinton pal Jeffrey Epstein

With her usual mix of sarcasm and well-researched facts, Ann Coulter writes about how the Democrats are suddenly interested in Jeffrey Epstein. ...the very news outlets that spiked any news about this case for the past 13 years are suddenly hot on the trail of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Why? Ann believes it is because it has been discovered that Palm Beach resident Epstein has been to Mara Lago (even though Trump intervened to bar him after a mom reported that her daughter had been propositioned by Epstein at Mara Lago). Was Epstein's plea deal corrupt?

Have you been following the Jeffrey Epstein case? There is a new piece on Fox News by Gregg Re. Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska is pushing legislation that would urge the Inspector General of the DoJ to investigate the way Epstein's case was handled. Epstein flew Bill Clinton on dozens of trips on his private jet.

Epstein allegedly operated his sex ring at his mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, a residence in New York City, and his private island estate on the 72-acre Virgin Islands home dubbed by some “Orgy Island.” He ultimately served 13 months in jail and registered as a sex offender after pleading guilty to two felony prostitution charges, with only one involving a girl that prosecutors called a prostitute -- even though she was only 14 years old.

It looks to me like Sasse is targeting Trump Secretary of Labor Alex Acosta, who was one of the prosecutors in Florida on the Epstein case. It seems that Sasse is thinking that Epstein's plea deal was corrupt.
