Some theories about voter fraud

The next topic Bookworm takes up is voter fraud.

...Part One of my universal theory is that Obama won in 2012 because he had two advantages over Romney: (1) a superb “get out the vote” infrastructure in urban areas and (2) in those same urban areas, a superb “get out the illegal vote” infrastructure. This second machine reached out to all the urban illegal immigrants, dead voters, felons, and unregistered or irresponsible millennials — that is, all the people who make up the Democrat cohort and who would vote heavily in urban pockets during federal elections, if they could vote legally, if they weren’t dead, or if they weren’t sitting around in a pot haze and clinging to their safe spaces.

I think this poster gives an idea of the kind of voters I mean:


...You see, this year it turned out that the candidates weren’t fighting for control over urban voters, which the Dems have locked up both legally and illegally. Instead, they were fighting for control over the entire nation of voters . . . and the Democrats had never bothered to put either legal or illegal “get out the vote” systems in place in non-urban America. Trump, however through his rhetoric, and through his orthodox Jewish son-in-law’s smarts, reached the formerly sleeping red counties, not through fraud, but through messaging that roused them from their torpor.

And this theory explains why Obama managed to win in 2012 and why, no matter how many recounts Soros and Clinton channel through Jill Stein, Trump will still win in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Very simply, the Dems copied their 2012 strategy and didn’t bother to gin up a new batch of fraudulent voters.

Wanted: A strong leader!

The first exit poll of Election Day 2016 emerged just after noon from Morning Consult/Politico, which reports that twice as many voters in 2016 versus 2012 (36 percent versus 18 percent) said that a “strong leader” was the most important factor in choosing a president.

Vote! and get ten others to vote, too!

In a guest post at Ace of Spades, Tusk has this advice for us:

I like to lower expectations.

When I see a movie, I convince myself beforehand it'll suck.

That way, if it does actually suck, I'm not too disappointed; if it's good, I'm pleasantly surprised.

In this spirit, I've made myself visualize Hillary Clinton's victory speech daily for the past two weeks.

Every triumphant, vengeful gleam in her eye; every note of the cackle unleashed; every shout; every smirk.

It's already happened in my mind a dozen times.

So if it actually happens tonight, it'll just be the thirteenth time I'm experiencing it. And familiarity breeds content.

...Expect the worst, hope for the best.

And vote. And get ten others to vote too.

Then hug your loved ones extra-tight, pray (if that's your thing--otherwise just plain hope) that we do the least-worst thing as a nation, and sit back to watch the fireworks.

"No angel"

Scott Adams writes,

In summary, Clinton’s message this closing week is that Trump is politically incorrect, offensive to many people, and sexually aggressive beyond the point of appropriate social behavior. That’s all the stuff you already assumed about Trump a year ago. And it doesn’t scare you, no matter how badly it offends you.

Meanwhile, the current news cycle along with Trump’s supporters have framed Clinton as a low-stamina liar with a drinking problem who is running a criminal enterprise (The Clinton Foundation) that sells influence to foreign countries and companies that are more interested in war than peace. While she trash-talks Putin. That stuff could get all of us killed.

Fear is the strongest persuasion. Clinton has largely abandoned her fear message in the final weeks to focus on Trump’s words and behaviors involving women. Comparing the persuasion game on both sides, I predict Trump wins in a landslide.

Remember, facts don’t matter. Policies don’t matter. They never did. People care about their “tribe.” People care about their income. And people care about their fears. Everything else is less persuasive.
