I know it is much easier to butcher a goat than a hog.
Well, physically easier.
Well, the real test is taste. So how does goat milk taste next to say the milk found in a grocery store?
terri,
Like night and day. Fresh goat milk is absolutely to die for. The Nubians milk has more fat, the alpines less fat. I prefer the Nubians. Once you taste the difference, you would never go back to store-bought milk, unless that were your only option. I wonder what fresh cow's milk tastes like. We will probably know the answer soon.
mushroom,
I am sure we will get a pig some day, then we will find out the truth of your words.
