Unemployment is increasing. I know someone who has a job now, and he is going to get an even better job after January 20. His name is Hank Paulson. He is the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States of America. He gave billions of taxpayers' dollars to Goldman Sachs, where he is going to be working after January 20.
Do you think maybe we have been had?

I was talking about the difference in "golden rules" this morning. Paulson's golden rule is more like "he who has the gold (or in this case, the printing presses) rules".
We've been had by our "representatives" for years now. Until we vote the majority of them out, we'll never set things right.
Too many in Congress determine the course of this nation and, in the case of Representatives, a very few wing nuts determine what wing nuts are in power (Pelosi, Frank, etc.). The voter has no say in electing the Speaker of the House & she's 2nd in line to be POTUS!
I couldn't agree more. I'm disgusted with the entire lot of them. Although I do think it's interesting that when the Repubs came into power, they made up fair rules...now the Demos are back, the rules are changed.
