This blog is looking for wisdom, to have and to share. It is also looking for other rare character traits like good humor, courage, and honor. It is not an easy road, because all of us fall short. But God is love, forgiveness and grace. Those who believe in Him and repent of their sins have the promise of His Holy Spirit to guide us and show us the Way.

The Inaugural Speech
Barack, my brother, I have just listened to your magnificent speech. I pray that you and we will be successful in living up to every well-chosen word of it.
I was only able to catch bits and pieces, but what I heard sounded like 'get ready for the tough times' (which I read as 'taxes'). But, I *will* pray for the man. I can do no less for my country. I may not like him, but he is our president. I do not wish him ill, and will recognize any good he does for us.

Funny, I didn't hear anything that encouraged me.

I was expecting more. It made me a little depressed.
