This blog is looking for wisdom, to have and to share. It is also looking for other rare character traits like good humor, courage, and honor. It is not an easy road, because all of us fall short. But God is love, forgiveness and grace. Those who believe in Him and repent of their sins have the promise of His Holy Spirit to guide us and show us the Way.

Tonight's Sunset
The bottom photo was taken first, looking east. Something reminded me to turn around to the west. It was orange rain!
what a beautiful, beautiful home you and your wife have created. My best friend lives in Evergreen, my dauther in Highlands Ranch, so I know Colorado reasonably well.
You've created an oasis there, that as a child. . I would have LOVED to explore (though growing up on a beach in Oregon was way cool).
Beautiful sunset. We live in AZ and I can only dream of seeing rain of any kind rain, let alone orange! Bless you and your wife homeschooling your children. I have 8 children, and with 5 still in school often think of doing this, but just afraid of that first step.
Skywriter, Yes, I would have really enjoyed being able to ride horses, especially, as a kid. All of my movie star heroes were cowboys. But, I agree that living near the coast would have been wonderful, too. We are about 45 minutes east and south of Highlands Ranch.
Cynthia, Thanks for stopping by. I think that is the first time I have seen orange rain! I am ony homeschooling one child this year, so I guess I better change that sentence in my profile. We found a charter school with an excellent curriculum, so we are giving that a try this year for our oldest three. So far, it seems to be working well for them.

Odd how the redness is located in one area. Out here it spreads across the entire horizon.
Gorgeous pictures Bob!
Orange rain.
Yep, just checked my notes; that's a new one.
What's next I wonder?
