Physical attractiveness
I wrote a post the other day in which I asserted that character has nothing to do with what a person looks like. Yet, physical attractiveness remains the most powerful reason people initially hook up. At least, I think that is true for us guys. I don't know what is true for women. For guys, if an attractive woman has a few positive character traits, we're ripe for pickin'.

I believe it's true men fall in love with someone they find attractive; women think the man they fell in love with is attractive. Subtle but telling difference.
This is one of those things that is obviously true, but yet I can't understand.
I suppose appearance is important to me as far as the fact that I like cleanliness, and socially appropriate choices in dress, no tattoos of "killer" across the forehead, etc. But beyond that ... I want a man who seeks after God. It's hard enough to fulfill that requirement without worrying about what he looks like!
