In his speech in Hiroshima Friday, President Obama described the bombing of Hiroshima as an “evil” and alleged that “every great religion… [has had] believers who have claimed their faith as a license to kill.”
In 1984 Muhammed Ali endorsed President Reagan for re-election, saying, “He’s keeping God in schools and that’s enough,” Ali told reporters when asked to elaborate on his endorsement, as the New York Times reported in 1984.
