Pictures that change elections

Instapundit links to Steven Hayward at Powerline, who posts about pictures that change elections. I do not remember seeing this one of Elian Gonzales in 2000, but it may have cost Gore the election, Hayward writes, because of the impact it had on Cuban-American voters in Florida.

Now, of course, we have this one published last week of brown-shirted deputies taking in an independent filmmaker for "questioning," after his film offended some Muslims.
