AFL-CIO redeploying funds away from political campaigns

If this is true, it cannot be a good sign for the Obama campaign. US News and World Report's Washington Whispers Column says it has been told by the AFL-CIO that it is redeploying funds away from political campaigns. Obama's failure to support them in Wisconsin wouldn't have anything to do with this decision, would it?
