Walter Williams: The civil rights struggle is over and it is won

Devastating problems, but not civil rights problems. Over fifty percent of homicide victims are black, and 94 percent of the killers are black. The civil rights struggle is over and won. The illegitimacy rate is now 75 percent. Only 30 percent of black kids live in two parent families. Education: in Washington D.C. the average black student who is a twelfth-grader has the reading, writing or computational skills of a white sixth grader. Obamacare and minimum wage laws raise the cost of hiring people.
