An Oklahoma Congressman and his wife have adopted twin girls who were "separated at birth."
Why were they separated at birth? I wanted to know more about this story. I researched it a little further here and found that they were not separated at birth. They were separated when they were three months old. Like the Congressman, the twins are Cherokee. Why were they removed from the families that were raising them? What is the likelihood of that happening? Are they identical? Like everything else in the child protection system, it is hard to find answers.
Two guys where I work are identical twins. I have seen them together many times, and always they are enjoying each other's company.
