Another taboo goes by the wayside

What if

a generation of women are growing up believing the only thing that matters is how sexually appealing they are? And that when they are older – they will have lost all of their appeal?

28-year-old actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge has created a play entitled Fleabag that is very popular and winning prizes. Fleabag's character, played by Waller-Bridge, works in a London cafe facing foreclosure.

Here is a photo of her performing Fleabag.

Do you ever hear women talking in a mixed gender group about what they want in the bedroom? Emma Barnett writes that

Fleabag brilliantly has no such qualms. She masturbates. A lot. And she talks about it openly. Waller-Bridge knows women “aren’t meant to talk about such things” and yet jokes about men pleasuring themselves are totally the norm. Society doesn’t bat an eyelid.

I notice where I work that attractive women spend a lot of money on make-up. It is rare (and appealing) to find one who doesn't.
