I am reading Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand. She is the author of the book about Secretariat. This one follows the life of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner from Torrence, California, who became a bombadier with the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Today's Islamist terrorists have nothing at all on the Japanese in the 1930s and 1940s in terms of vicious barbarism. Here is my question: How could we not have seen what was coming from Japan? From Hitler? Will someone some day ask the same question about Iran?
