Heading for Light

Did you know sheep have poor depth perception? They avoid shadows or harsh contrasts between light and dark. They will move towards the light. They head into the wind and towards the light. Bummer lambs are the ones rejected by their mothers, taken inside the shepherd's home, and nursed until they can join the rest of the lambs. Sheila Walsh writes about sheep here: http://www.aholyexperience.com/2013/03/because-when-its-a-bummer-it-might-be-perfect/

When the shepherd calls, "Sheep, sheep, sheep," the bummer lambs are the first to respond and come forward to him. They know they can trust him. Jesus is the Light of the world. We can trust Him.
