The Truth About LBJ and Martin Luther King
Hillary Clinton praises LBJ as the man who got key civil rights legislation passed, and made it possible for Martin Luther King's dream to be realized. However, Frances Rice writes a very informative post here, which points out the important role played by Republican Senator Everett Dirkson. She also lets us know what LBJ really thought of Dr. King.
