This blog is looking for wisdom, to have and to share. It is also looking for other rare character traits like good humor, courage, and honor. It is not an easy road, because all of us fall short. But God is love, forgiveness and grace. Those who believe in Him and repent of their sins have the promise of His Holy Spirit to guide us and show us the Way.

I'll be at game 1 on Thursday, Bob. I'll be cheering for the DBacks of course, but if the Rockies win I'll be happy for you guys, too.
heh - wv is :cshbxx
someone looking for a cashbox?
julie,
You sre stumping me on the reference to a cash box. But if you find it, I will gladly work for my share.
Lucky you to get to go to the game, and thanks for your generous spirit. These are two really good teams. It ought to be a great game. When baseball is played at this high level, it is really quite an intriguing endeavor.
That it is. I'll be honest, I don't much notice baseball at any other time of year, but playoff games have that extra edge of skill, sportsmanship and intensity that makes watching them really exciting.
julie,
And, listenig to it! I ignored it all season long, but winning seventeen out of their last eighteen has caught my attention!
The Lucille Ball is pretty well up on the evolutionary ladder!
Bob, Bob, Bob... As much as I love the Colorado Rockies (and the Sky Sox for that matter!) They will not beat the Red Sox... The Rockies may be on fire but the Sox have been consistent ALL season. :o)
I do have to say the having lived in Colorado at two different times in my adult life for a total of about 7 1/2 years has made me a Rockies fan but the Red Sox owns my heart...
jeffro,
I loved the sense of humor dispayed in that sculpture. It speaks well of the Colorado Rockies to display it so prominently. It is hard for us to take ourselves seriously when the majestic Rocky Mountains are such a humbling presence nearby.
lemon stand,
The Rockies will not be in awe of a team that can only think of a name that reflects the color of its socks.
