"They don't care about news. What they care about is the narrative of division."

Mark Levin has Brandon Straka as his guest on this interview. I admit I was not a fan of Mark Levin until he started this series of Sunday night interviews on Fox. I didn't like his radio program because invariably he would be yelling about something. He is not that way on these Sunday night interviews. Notice how cool and calm he is. Brandon Straka is the founder and leader of the WalkAway program. He tells Mark his story about how he realized how the media operates.

"They start with a conclusion: You're a bigot, racist, some kind of phobe. They don't report news. They are looking for a sound bite that will support the conclusions they have already come to.

If liberals and Democrats could just let go of the hatred, this could be one of the most fun, enjoyable times in our nation's history! We should be concerned with empowering ourselves as individuals and not just as group members and seeing ourselves as victims of oppression."

Mark: You seem to be saying, "Let's embrace our liberty and individuality." Brandon: "Absolutely! What you are describing is what I call the oppression industry that exists by making people constantly feel like they are in danger, that they don't have the same rights, advantages or opportunities as other people have. They are still getting messages that they are victims, not wanted, that they are hated, even though it is not reality any more. I want them to be liberated, to set themselves free! But they are constantly getting messages from the media and the Democratic Party that we are still living in the past."

Brandon thinks it was a good thing that he never went to college. He never got the indoctrination. He also stresses that the era of the silent majority is over; it is time for the silent majority to become unsilent.
