This morning on his blog, Ace of Spades tackles the issue of Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria. As usual when he tackles a huge issue, his commenters, who call themselves Morons and Moronettes, have worthile things to say.
What is so frustrating to me is that while about 80-90% of the country finds this horrific and insane, the most influential and powerful 10-20% think its some huge human rights issue and trendy. This is the biggest divide in the nation, its an uncrossable gulf. We think they are crazy and awful, and they think we're hateful and monstrous. They consider this to be the equivalent of blacks trying to sit in the front of the bus.

For every enthusiastic parent cheering on their kids, there are 10 more in the shadows filled with horror and heartbreak over what's happening to their child. In the teen girl community this is spreading like anorexia. It's terrifying and it's growing.
