Samantha Bee used the "c" word because the "f" word has been drained of its power! The audience cheered deliriously, not because there was a thrilling trapeze act, but because Samantha Bee used the "c" word!
On the other hand there are the protected classes: they are Muslim, black, gay, transgender, whatever is next down the pike, about whom you cannot say anything. Only people who are associated with Trump, or who are religious conservatives, a very narrow sliver of people on whom you can unleash the blizzard of "f" and "c" words!
It is killing comedy. It was scripted. They have writers. Where was the joke?
