CNN reports that the woman in the accompanying photo has been arrested and charged with killing her baby by microwaving the baby to death. Investigators in Dayton, Ohio had a hard time proving the case, because "there is not a lot of scientific research and data on the effect of microwaves on human beings." Apparently there was one other woman charged in 2000 with microwaving her baby.

I was sickened to hear this story...odds are she was on drugs at the time.
