Gina Haspel faces hostile questioning from Democrats, Is Rudy Giuliani helping or hurting Trump? Michelle Obama has I.P.B., What group will Democrats blame for their next losses

Brian Kilmeade filled Jesse Waters shoes ably on tonight's program.

Story number one today is Gina Haspel, Trump' nominee to head the CIA. Trump says she faces opposition from the Democrats because she is "too tough on terror." There followed one of the most intense discussions I have ever seen on The Five. Four of the panelists were strongly in favor of confirming Gina, who has a 33-year record of serving our country. Juan Williams was strongly opposed, even to the point of blaming her for 9-11! While Juan shook his head in disagreement ("This is America, we don't torture!")Kimberlee came on strong in Gina's defense. "She followed the law!

Story number two was about Rudy Giuliani. Is he hurting or helping President Trump? Kimberlee strongly defended him, while Juan put him in the most negative light possible.

Story number three: Michelle Obama blamed The 2016 election loss on sexism (from women to women!) Greg says Michelle is stuck in her bucket with I.P.B. (Identity Politics Blindness): seeing the group and not the individual. They lost not because Hillary was a woman, but because all they saw was a woman! Assuming a woman must vote for a woman seems pretty insulting! Humans are more complex, surprisng and interesting than liberals give them credit for!

Greg continued: Trump showed up. He fought. Hillary didn't. If Democrats continue to dwell in this narrow-minded intolerant universe, where all people have to sit in their identity buckets where their behavior is fixed by sex or race, they will continue to lose. And then, what group will they blame next?

For the second time today, I was unable to embed a YouTube video. You can watch it on YouTube.
