Weakness and rot in the United Kingdom

From April 2016 to March 2017 The National Health Service in Britain treated over 9000 cases of female genital mutilation. Co-blogger CBD adds,

The mutilation of little girls is the first step in their subjugation. Maybe it's to prevent them from having much interest in cheating on their pencil-dick husbands? Maybe it's simply to tamp down that which the real God gave women, and maybe it's some sick echo of Muhammad's vile life of child rape.

But it doesn't matter. It is an evil act and should be prosecuted with vigor. That The United Kingdom tolerates such evil in its midst while simultaneously attacking those who, as the trite saying goes, speak truth to power is an indictment of their entire society and the weakness and rot embedded deep within it.
