That was followed by urban renewal and slum clearance of public housing. Rents have shot way up. Homelessness is epidemic in Los Angeles. 75% live outside around the clock. People prefer that to the shelter system!
Voters have approved 4.6 billion dollars to build housing and provide services to homeless people. That is going to take three years to have an impact. There are people living in their cars in Beverly Hills!
Officials are trying to convince homeowners to allow homeless shelters in their neighborhoods, rather than people just camping out on the streets.
Finally, in the "Stuff I like" segment, Andrew asks, "How do you find a nice man?" Andrew believes a woman's happiness is far more connected to who she marries than it is to her job.
