The killer's booby-trapped apartment has now been entered by Aurora police, with the use of a robot first to diffuse a trip-wire. The robot dropped something resembling a water bottle on the trip-wire, then exited the apartment. A small explosion occurred. The remaining explosive devices were loaded onto a truck loaded with sand, and driven to a field out east on the prairie, where they were detonated. How would you like to be the driver of that truck?

I am impressed with the Aurora Police Chief. Anything he has learned from the killer, he is saving for the trial, unlike the NYC Police Chief who released the info about the killer saying he's the Joker.
