I have been thinking about my sons' education. Who was it that said, "Don't let schooling interfere with your child's education?" Toward the last third of the school year, both my sons grew frustrated with the daily school grind. I think next year I am going to negotiate with them at the beginning of each day to get them to commit to work on school stuff from hour A to hour B, then allow them to proceed with their hands-on education (even if both hands contain dead crawdads) for the rest of the hours of each day. I am such a stickler that they learn the basics, but I probably do have some room to relax and enjoy my sons more.
