President Trump has genuine sadness in his voice when he states that our leaders of America had lost their belief in America's greatness. On January 20, 2017 Trump "stood on the steps of the Capitol to herald the day the people became the rulers of their nation again." "American success is not a foregone conclusion. It must be earned and it must be won."
Dana liked two things especially about Trump's speech today on his plan for national security. One, military readiness, including modernizing equipment and updating cyber abilities. Secondly, America will use our influence as a force for good and for the benefit of humanity.
Greg referenced a story in the news today in Politico about Obama giving a pass to Hezbollah. Juan says Clinton, Bush and Obama all fought terrorism, and he belittled the other panelists for their "empty rhetoric." His sarcasm is incredibly annoying.
Trump is not happy with the way the Special Counsel is being handled. However, when a reporter asked Trump if he is going to fire Mueller, Trump said no. Jesse: "The more the investigators investigate, the more they find crimes that they, the investigators, committed!"
Juan seems delighted to report there is a spat between Fox 'N Friends and Hannity. I don't know what that's about.
An Amtrack train jumped the tracks in Washington state with the death toll standing at six at broadcast time. The train cars are on Interstate highway 5. 77 people taken to hospitals with injuries. This was an inaugural trip for this Amtrack train which connects Seattle to Portland and is supposed to save 15 minutes!
Atlanta's airport grounded over one thousand flights because of an eleven-hour power blackout!
SNL cast member Peter Davidson got a tattoo of Hillary on his arm. Greg points out that tattoos are easier to disappear.
