I imagine I will be going to the Five Thirty Eight blog a lot today, even though I know they are liberal. They are still the best statistical site I know of. Lately they have been hedging their bets a bit. All along they have been saying the election will be Hillary's to lose. Today the proprietor, Nate Silver, has this headline, Final Election Update: There’s A Wide Range Of Outcomes, And Most Of Them Come Up Clinton." Well, at least he is saying there is a wide range of outcomes.
What percentages?
Electoral college? Clinton 302, Trump 235. Popular vote? Clinton 48.5, Trump 44.9
Of the key swing states, Silver gives Hillary Pa., Fl., Mi., Co., N.M., N.C., Va., Wi., Mn., Nev.,and N.H. Trump only gets Ohio, Az., and Georgia.
