Here is a paragraph from Curt's email to me from this morning. "
Actually, one of the greatest parts of the evening was meeting an incredibly beautiful 90+ year old lady who sat just in front of me then was moved up right behind me after she'd left to meet Mitt then return. She was a WWII WAC (Women's Air Corps) pilot and flew B-26s.. They did ferry flights to deliver the planes all over . She is a tiny little lady, literally petite, and so feminine. But when we talked flying, she said, "That B-26 wasn't an airliner. If you didn't fly it like a fighter, you didn't live to tell the story. She then told of other airplanes." What a gal. She was there with her daughter. She'd married a USAF Pilot after the war and raised a family.
