The New York Times last month described a Jewish center in Mumbai, India, as the "unlikely target" of terrorists. When terrorists murdered Christian workers, while sparing Muslims, in the offices of a Karachi charity in 2002, CNN International said there was "no indication of a motive."
On and on goes the media bias and ignorance. These and other examples are given in a new book entitled "Blind Spot: When Journalists Don't Get Religion." The book was reviewed yesterday in the Wall Street Journal by one of my favorite columnists, editorial-page editor of the Rocky Mountain News, Vince Carroll. Maybe Vince can get a job with the Wall Street Journal after the Rocky folds in mid-January.

And you're right, many journalists are either incredibly naive or willfully ignorant and always more concerned about political correctness than reporting the truth.

It reminds me of my old college psch courses...frame of reference. A young fellow called Hannity the other day and basically told him why the Repubs are losing young voters...bottom line...religion. The MSM has protrayed all religious people as Islamic fundamentalists and tarred the Repubs as the party of the fundamentalist Christians...how do you combat that?
