This blog is looking for wisdom, to have and to share. It is also looking for other rare character traits like good humor, courage, and honor. It is not an easy road, because all of us fall short. But God is love, forgiveness and grace. Those who believe in Him and repent of their sins have the promise of His Holy Spirit to guide us and show us the Way.

Yours, Mine, Ours, and Theirs
I showed Colleen all the encouraging comments you all have written about my idea to write a book on foster care from the perspective of foster parents. Her idea for a title: "Yours, Mine, Ours, and Theirs"! She especially liked MizzE's prediction that we would sell a ton of books, and asked, "Then we could quit doing foster care?"

I think the book is a really great idea, Bob. I'll bet there are a lot of families who consider being foster parents, but shy away because they hear so many horror stories, both about foster parents and foster kids.
I think this book would be a great resource for anyone considering fostering.
I sincerely hope you never stop being foster parents. But I do believe that you will always be foster parents, if not in truth then in spirit.
Are you considering adopting Mau Mau?
