A Relaxing Ride
Mother-in-law is here, so Colleen and I actually got to enjoy a half-moonlight horseback ride tonight. Coming back we could see the whole front range of the Rockies. Very relaxing, and the first time we did something alone together in months.

Congrats! There's nothing like a short escape with your spouse, and moonlit mountains on horseback seems like a perfect getaway!!
I know what you were experiencing. I love the pace of a leisurely ride....settles me right down into a natural rhythm. Moonlight - how romantic!
It sounds very romantic! Problem is, I couldn't do that here right now because of all the rain. We'd be eaten alive by mosquitoes! :)

Sorry about the mosquitoes. Why don't you do what a lot of Texans do in the summer: spend a few days or weeks in Colorado!
