Black-on-Asian violence. But there's another reason that few people like to talk about: Asians go from ghetto to suburbs in one generation and, often, from suburbs to chi-chi upper-class communities in just one or two generations. If you think about the fact that Asians came to America broke, speaking no English, and often facing substantial prejudice, their success puts the lie to Black claims that there's no way Blacks can achieve success in a country as racist as America.

Sadly, rather than seeing Asian behavior as something to imitate to achieve Asian success rates, too many Blacks see Asians as a group that needs to be destroyed, perhaps because they put the lie to Black narratives about generational failure in America.

The collapse of the woke appeal

Victor Davis Hanson asks,

So, what did the people conclude 10 months out from the Woke getting their wishes?

The polls reveal that voters don’t like open borders at all. They disapprove of illegal immigration as much they support legal immigrants. They worry about crime and drugs. They don’t want the unvetted and unvaccinated flowing across their open border.

The people want cheaper, not pricier gas. They prefer American energy self-sufficiency. Why, with cup in hand, go begging to Saudi Arabia and Russia to pump more supposedly Satanic oil?

The people like the police and hate crime. Even the rich among the woke are now scared—some of whom sowed the wind of decriminalization and are themselves reaping the whirlwind of crime.

Most voters care less about our color, but far more about our character. They think a meritocracy, not quotas and tribal chauvinism, explains the exceptional American standard of life.

They despise inflation as much as recession—and fear they may now get both soon.

Freedom-loving individuals don’t like cancel culture, ostracism, iconoclasm, Trotskyization, and commissars. They prefer free speech. They treasure the Bill of Rights.

So, in just 10 months the Left got what it wanted. And the people are becoming not just sick of what has followed, but disgusted. They are terrified that the Left is not just failing, but also wrecking the country and them along with it.

The ages have left us adages for the people’s growing anger at the hubristic and now unpopular Left. We know the ancient warnings variously as, “What comes around, goes around,” “You reap what you sow,” “Be careful about what you wish for,” and “The law of unintended consequences.” Words like “nemesis and “karma” also come to mind. But of the collapse of the woke appeal, perhaps we could say, “It couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of zealots.”

And more important; guide the conservative movement and try to drag the Republican party into some sort of agreement with your vision of our economy and American foreign policy. You showed during your four years that it was a hugely successful vision...energy independence, a rational foreign policy that protected our interests, rewarded our friends, and punished our enemies.

Unfortunately, during your term in office you also demonstrated that you were not the political master that you needed to be. You were stymied and blocked at every turn...by your enemies, yes...but also by your inner circle. That was the failure of your presidency, and that is something that a more accomplished politician can avoid.

You have the loyalty of more than half of America. They will fight for you; they will vote for your candidates; they will support your reimagining the Republican party, and they will follow your lead in dismantling the "China-First" attitudes of much of the elite class in America.

Taking Viagra slashes Alzheimer’s risk by two-thirds, research suggests. Scientists claim the love drug may help boost brain health and cut levels of toxic proteins that trigger dementia. Experts analyzed data on 7.2 million US adults and found regular users had a 69 percent lower chance of being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s over the next six years. Medics say the findings, published in the journal Nature Aging, suggest the little blue pill could soon be prescribed to tackle dementia.

“Abuse of power by the Biden administration has been stopped cold again!"

Reuters reports,

A federal judge on Tuesday blocked the last of the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandates for businesses, saying the government exceeded it authority with a requirement that millions of employees of federal contractors be inoculated.

The lawsuit was filed by the states of Georgia, Alabama, Indiana, Kansas, South Carolina, Utah and West Virginia as well as a trade group for contractors.

Tuesday’s ruling by Baker, an appointee of President Donald Trump, shut down temporarily the last remaining business mandates that Biden had announced, as courts have found the government overstepped its authority in imposing the rules.

80 years later...Where are we now?

JJ Sefton speaks out on the state of America on this 80 year December 7 anniversary of Pearl Harbor.

What happened there that day, as well as the declaration of war by Germany against the United States changed the course of history and brought us to where we are today. It is bitterly ironic that in the wake of our absolute military victory and emergence as the preeminent global superpower, the evil that we overcame did not disappear, but re-emerged in only a slightly different form and spent the ensuing eight decades sowing the seeds of our self-destruction from within. No doubt, the Soviets and the Chi-Coms each played and continue to play a crucial role in fomenting the cancer that Lincoln nearly 100 years earlier prophetically warned, If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.

Little wonder then that the neo-Cultural Revolutionaries are aiming to erase Lincoln with equal if not more zeal than Robert E. Lee or even the Confederate flag. The logic is simple, if not completely insane. Since America was not only never perfect but evil and illegitimate from the outset, nothing that anyone did to redress its greatest flaw, slavery, really mattered. Not the founders who laid the legal foundation for its abolition in 1789, nor the 700,000 sacrificed in a civil war to end it, nor anything anyone has ever done since then to try to live up to the ideals of liberty and justice for all. Therefore, even Abe Lincoln is to be removed from history.

Frankly, I think the Chinese, the Russians, the Iranians and every other bad actor out there are wasting their money. People (allegedly) like Rustoleum-hair Nikole Hannah-Jones, Ibram X. Krement, Titty Caca AOC, Nazi collaborator George Soros and the litany of other sick, deranged fiends will be our undoing, aided and abetted by the DC junta so long as they get their $28 trillion pieces of silver.

Assuming we even survive the next three years without any major shifts in the geopolitical map as it stands today, our government and far too many institutions outside of it are so horribly corrupted that even if a Trump, DeSantis or other outsider were to win the White House and the Democrats lost control of one or both chambers of Congress, what real good would it do? And the national rift between American and anti-American citizens will still be there.

With all due respect to all those who fought and perished between 1941 and 1945, the challenge facing us here and now is perhaps even more perilous. And for sure, the situation is still very much in doubt.
