This blog is looking for wisdom, to have and to share. It is also looking for other rare character traits like good humor, courage, and honor. It is not an easy road, because all of us fall short. But God is love, forgiveness and grace. Those who believe in Him and repent of their sins have the promise of His Holy Spirit to guide us and show us the Way.

On this day in history...
1969 – After a party on Chappaquiddick Island, Senator Ted Kennedy from Massachusetts drives an Oldsmobile off a bridge and his passenger, ‘campaign specialist’ Mary Jo Kopechne, dies. Ted, being a Kennedy in Massachusetts, skates free. Dimmocrats overlook this little faux pas ever since. The fact that anybody in the country even spoke to this scumbag after this is a clear sign of the moral decline of the nation and the US Senate as a body.
