In Colorado, a guy named Jared Polis is spending millions earned by his parents in order to run for governor. His parents created a very successful greeting card line called Blue Mountain Arts which was very popular in the store I used to own in Durango, Colorado. Polis has spent $18.5 million so far. Todd Shepard reports in the Washington Free Beacon,

Polis has claimed that allows him to be free of influence from outside interests.

State Victory Action, a 527 political organization which has been funded primarily by billionaire activists George Soros and Tom Steyer, made a $500,000 donation to a group in Colorado supporting Rep. Jared Polis, the Democratic nominee for governor.
