Today Andrew is in Washington DC to attend the annual prayer breakfast (tomorrow?).
It is also mailbag day, whereby listeners can email him with questions. One woman asked for help in dealing with her mother-in-law who sounds like a very disagreeable person. We all have at least one person like that in our lives. Andrew answers that his listener still must treat her kindly and with patience and respect. Andrew believes the mother-in-law is angry that this woman has become the chief female figure in her son's life. Andrew suggests trying to divert her, maybe with a sense of humor, get her to talk about her life and her concerns, and don't be afraid to talk to your husband in a collaborative way. Enlist his involvement to help you out with your feelings. Try to get rid of the anger that is eating you up.
