The Denver Broncos are standing together -- literally and figuratively.Read more here.
In a statement released Thursday via the team's Twitter account, billed as a "message from our players," the Broncos announced they will not kneel during the national anthem at home on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders -- or at any time going forward.
Although the players don't regret their demonstration in Week 3, as "our voices needed to be heard loud and clear," they've decided "we're a team and we stand together -- no matter how divisive some comments and issues can be, nothing should ever get in the way of that."
This blog is looking for wisdom, to have and to share. It is also looking for other rare character traits like good humor, courage, and honor. It is not an easy road, because all of us fall short. But God is love, forgiveness and grace. Those who believe in Him and repent of their sins have the promise of His Holy Spirit to guide us and show us the Way.
