that government at all levels will be used to hunt down and remove immigrants from their homes, families and jobs. Mr. Trump was describing a world of lockups and surveillance and fugitive-hunting squads, a vast system of indiscriminate catch-and-punish that works as hard to catch hotel maids and landscapers as it does gang members and terrorists.
This blog is looking for wisdom, to have and to share. It is also looking for other rare character traits like good humor, courage, and honor. It is not an easy road, because all of us fall short. But God is love, forgiveness and grace. Those who believe in Him and repent of their sins have the promise of His Holy Spirit to guide us and show us the Way.

The Left imagines the worst case scenario
Although Donald Trump gave a comprehensive speech on immigration, the New York Times was much more interested in what he did not say. Trump, as I understand him, wants to deport people who are committing crimes here in America (after coming here illegally). He also wants to build a wall, and deport people who are caught trying to enter the country illegally. The New York Times, as quoted today in a post by Ann Althouse, imagines
