Are We Looking For Perfection?

I was frankly shocked the other day when I visited one of my favorite blogs and learned that he was thinking about forming an anti-Rudy blog. Among the things he cited, when he stated his extreme dislike for Rudy, were Rudy's smile and his thick skin. I actually thought those were two of his best attributes, along with his ability to think quickly on his feet. The way he cleaned up crime in New York City should be something that all social conservatives should admire. He also got rid of the porn industry around Times Square, which is another accomplishment that social conservatives should find to be significant. His indefatigable work after 9-11 was certainly worthy of praise. No one doubts that he would be formidable in defending and keeping America secure. I do not understand all the hatred of Rudy by some of my colleagues on the right.
