Kamala Harris is getting a 'routine' check up at Walter Reed Medical Center on Sunday, a report revealed, just five days after she met with two Texas Democratic lawmakers who tested positive for coronavirus.
The visit also comes the day after he office released a statement claiming the vice president would not be getting tested for COVID-19, despite the potential contact with the virus, and would not be quarantining.
On Tuesday, Harris met with a group of lawmakers who fled Texas on Monday to block Republicans from passing two voting rights bills in a special session. One of those lawmakers tested positive for coronavirus on Friday.
Subsequently on Saturday, two more lawmakers tested positive.
The doctor's appointment comes the afternoon after Harris tweeted: 'The Delta variant is no joke. Get vaccinated.'
Monday evening, 58 Democratic lawmakers packed into two private jets, chartered at a whopping $100,000, to flee from Texas to Washington, D.C. in order to sabotage Republican's two voting rights bills.
As of Saturday, three of the runaways tested positive for coronavirus – four days after meeting with Harris.
