If you were standing behind a guy in the check out lane who was openly carrying a gun in a holster on his waist, would you be scared? Would you think he was a nut? That was Rick Tosche's reaction when he saw such a person. The town of Castle Rock, Colorado, near where I live, is considering approval of open carry within the town limits. Tosche is freaking out.
If a gunman started opening fire in the store where I work, I would hope that there would be a well trained person with a gun, either concealed or openly carried, who could take out the gunman. The alternative is waiting for the police to arrive, which would take several minutes at best. What is your view?
