Did you see that Congress voted today to repeal the cut to military retire pensions they voted FOR 2 months ago. OH, MY! Now they want us to think they are so wonderful for having repealed it. NOW, THE THING WE NEED TO DO IS TO REMEMBER THAT THEY CUT IT. THEY JUST DIDN'T GET AWAY WITH IT. They wanted that money in the worst way to pay for Obamacare. And, as usual, the military and the Social Security aged folks are their first targets. They didn't repeal it because they are the good guys riding to the rescue. They repealed it but not because of their concern for the welfare of the military retirees. They repealed it because it was suddenly pointed out to them that this put their Congressional seats in jeopardy in the 2014 election. In short, they were protecting their precious arses, nothing more. So forget that they have repealed it as the unprincipled cowards they are, BUT REMEMBER THAT THEY CUT IT AND TRIED TO GET AWAY WITH IT.
