Do you read "the paper" every day? I don't. It is such an unpleasant experience to read the biased coverage. I do it a few times each week just to see how the various items are being presented to the American people, who pick up the paper to see if there are any coupons or deals on items they don't need.
For example, The Denver Post today carries a piece from three Washington Post reporters about the possible shutdown of the government. Why does it take three big time Washington Post reporters to write such an uninformative piece loaded with biased adjectives? The reporters use words to describe Republicans that they would never use to describe Islamic terrorist killers. Additionally, creatures like Harry Reid and White House Press Secretary Carney give them additional extreme epithets they can quote. "Relentless assault," Boehner "bowed again" to the GOP "right wing hardliners," under "pressure" from Texas Senator Ted Cruz and other GOP "hardliners," "after weeks of futile political games," "reckless and irresponsible." Boehner's decision to appease his right wing keeps an uneasy peace in his "fractious" caucus. But it "bodes ill," "bad for the economy," and a default would be potentially "catastrophic."
I guess I'll move onto the next catastrophic story.
