Senate returns us to the tradition that prevailed until 2003

Remember back in 2003 when the Senate Democrats filibustered George W. Bush's nomination of Miguel Estrada to the DC Court of Appeals? That was the first time in the history of our country that a filibuster was used to kill a judicial nomination.

By disallowing a filibuster tomorrow, Senator McConnell returns us to the tradition of majority votes for judicial nominees.
